The Founders

The founders of College Sherpa bring over 50 years of combined experience in student counselling, delivery of education, scaling businesses and sitting on boards of companies in India.

We have helped over 5000 students in their careers, and worked with over 200 schools in India in the areas of counselling and consulting. Over the years we have personally counselled students to successfully apply across STEM and liberal arts universities such as Princeton, Amherst, Pomona, MIT, Georgia Tech, Stanford, Colgate, Grinnell, Wheaton, Clark and Buffalo (read our Student Testimonials here).

Our counselling work and certifications such as Independent Education Counsellor (UC Irvine) and memberships of international counselling associations (e.g. International Association for College Admission Counseling or IACAC) give us deep insight into student and college requirements. We have studied in prestigious colleges in India and abroad (Stanford, BITS-Pilani, IIM) and know what it takes to make a mark.

We come from diverse backgrounds but are connected by our experiences and interests…in education, counselling, scuba diving, golf, running and trying a new cocktail!
